Maybe hes the author of both websites?
Why would he host both and give different emails?
@SelfmateMan awesome list, thanks man! Those were mostly new ideas for me - i had a lot of trouble with this triangulation one

@thiagoloio i'm actually the original author. the code is open source here and free to use: github.com/linrock/blitz-tactics
i didn't know about this other site, but cool idea with the slowly-draining combo bar as an urgency game mechanic
@SelfmateMan also, thanks for the suggestion on preventing 3-fold-repetition. i'll see about getting more variance in the computer moves

@flamehead #14
Welcome :-)
However, i note that it often does not play the right move. For example
blitztactics.com/position?goal=win&fen=6K1/8/6k1/8/8/p7/P7/8%20w%20-%20-%200%201
after 1.Kf8? (only 1.Kh8 draws) Kf6 2.Kg8 it plays 2...Ke6? which is draw and not 2...Ke5 which is the only way to win. So its usefulness is a bit restricted.

According to the endgame tablebases, the Vancura position is a loss for black in 37 moves:
blitztactics.com/position?goal=draw&fen=R7/6k1/P4r2/1K6/8/8/8/8%20b%20-%20-&depth=11
Did anyone besides me actually check any of these positions against an endgame tablebase?

@WilliamShakespeare only a loss in 37 if you flip the board ;-)
to be correct, dont flip the pieces, just flip the board.
Then you will see that its draw. Its magic! :-)
