I have an Opinion about Hans Niemann

It's shocking that Carlsen has no proof at all, and still continues to accuse Niemann. Carlsen is taking hypotheses ("I believe", "I had the impression"...) as if they were proven facts and drawing conclusions from hypothesis. This behavior is unacceptable in a democratic society, based on the principle "innocent until proven guilty".
Some GMs think that the FIDE Ethics commission should step in, as it did in the Solozhenkin case, a Russian GM who was suspended after making unsubstantiated accusations of cheating against a promising young player (as Carlsen has done) :

And GM Raymond Keene says he can recommend to Niemann a famous lawyer, who won a diffamation case for Nona Gaprindashvili, and who is ready to work for Niemann :

Who to believe? The world's best chess player, possibly the greatest chess player ever, or an upstart "nobody" who has admitted to cheating before?

Time will solve this mystery.

Niemann can't cheat forever, he will be caught.
It took me a while, somebody had to keep me informed at the whole raucous that was on the internet to realize that the video ending was not of the authors own imagination (at least not that i would know). It was already sprung on the interweebs...

This changes my opinion about the blog opinion to: it is all good.. good summary wrap-up of the state of the story. finally.

Where is the proof ? All specialists have acknowledged the fact that there isn't a single proof of cheating. Slanders are despicable.

Many GMs have been caught cheating online:
1) In a video of the "Chicken Chess Club", with French GM Laurent Fressinet and Danish GM Peter Nielsen (both have been Carlsen's seconds), Sinquefield commentator and GM, Jan Gustafsson, reveals that "grandmasters being banned from online blitz is incredibly common, you would not believe how many very very strong GMs that we admire have been banned for online cheating, it's quite shocking actually". Listen to his testimony here :
www.youtube.com/watch?v=fmldeic5NF8&t=2957s
2) And recently, Giri has said that many GMs have been caught cheating online :
www.chessdom.com/anish-giri-we-know-about-online-cheating-by-multiple-other-chess-players/
3) So, why attack Hans for something he did when he was 12 and 16 years old, when many adult GMs have done the same? And why is this information concerning Hans, public, but not for the other GMs who have been banned from online blitz? And why is chess.com singling out Hans Niemann and accusing him in public, when at the same time keeping secret the names of the numerous other GMs who have been caught cheating in online blitz on their website?
4) It seems more and more obvious that the only reason why Niemann is attacked by Carlsen is because he lost against Niemann.

1) Statistics are not a proof. I watched this video by Yosha Iglesia a few days ago, in its original French version, and it's filled with inaccuracies. She is only a FM and she doesn't understand statistics. Moreover, she never compares Niemann's results and statistics to the results and statistics of other GMs. That's a very serious methodological bias. By the way, she acknowledged on this video, in a post, that; "Because these 6 consecutive tournaments were not chosen randomly but drawn from a large sample, my calculation is incorrect".
2) Kenneth Regan, professor of mathematics and computer science at the University of Buffalo (New York) and FIDE IM, has been developing a program to detect cheaters for years. After analysing all of Niemann's games for the last 2 years, and comparing them with the games played by all the other titled players around the Earth, his verdict is clear: Niemann has no extraordinary results, he plays well, but nothing more. On the other hand, his opponents make more mistakes against him than against other players. Kenneth Regan's analysis is here:
www.youtube.com/watch?v=yLrzrMpf5xo
3) All the experts, as well as the authorities of the Sinquefield tournament and the grandmasters like Karpov, have said that there is no evidence of cheating. Therefore, it is necessary to stop spreading slander. Wanting to destroy the career of a talented young player, just because Minus Carlsen decided to take revenge for his defeat, is despicable.
