The US economy thread

"You realize that most slaves in the US were born into it, right?"

Yet:

"The US didn't actually enslave too many africans, considering that was against US law."

How many native africans do you know who were born in North America?
#35..have you heard of the Spanish / American war ..Texians..Alamo..the Mexican Cession..did you realize Texas was a nation and it was Texas, not USA that sent Mexico packing..
At this juncture I am questioning why I bother...

This is getting tiresome. You are trying to attack ancillary statements I make in order to distract everyone from the fact that you know nothing of economics, yet enjoy thinking that free market beliefs are wrong and unethical. Even if these statements I made were flawed (they could very well be), it doesn't make an argument. Even worse, these rhetorical attacks are themselves flawed, which compounds the issue. When presented with overwhelming, point blank evidence, you dismiss it as avoiding the question, and immediately ask for evidence.
Let me know when you have a legitimate economics question that needs debating.
Re #45:

At least you got the mixed economy one correct.

Question: What is the largest socialized and also most socialist part of the US government?
