Reading the notes people left you ...

As far as I can see, there's no real way of keeping track of the number of possible comments others have posted on your wall ... not even when you log off and check your profile then. Is that feature intentionally left out or was it a simple oversight?

I would just like to know how people praise or curse me and don't really see a reason why it should stay hidden for other users either.

Intentional, for similar reasons why we don't show the names of the people that blocked you. It can create an unfriendly atmosphere, because you never know what note someone leaves. At that point they'll become like brutal MySpace comments, which were one of the reasons people left en masse to join facebook instead.
Thank you for your answer!

I get your point, but I still don't agree with this particular site policy ... well, at this point it would devolve into a mere discussion of different tastes, so I will remain the thread like this.
i agree that we should be able to view notes, as many people can abuse this system.
How would you be able to 'abuse this system', #4?
After entering the profile you should see at the top.

And then the TV Challenge and Follow Icons.

Click on Notes and it's self-explanatory
I see that other people have notes... Manuel2, for example, has zero. I don't have a place for notes on my profile :O
I get it, I can't see my own lol. So some asshole is writing bad stuff about me and I can't even see what it is. Nice.
