live streams

There is a great chance that Zug will move on to some other site which might advertise him if he won't be advertised here no more, and I for one don't plan to move to another site unless forced to or situation would deteriorate here badly (which might not be extremely unlikely, if it continues like in the past couple of days/weeks). Not everyone wants to subscribe, sometimes you don't really have time for either chess or watching live streams, but then an email comes, it in itself both disturbs you from work and also puts you in dilemma - work or watch stream etc.
Guys Zug was reinstated on the white list 4 hours ago so....chill :) It was the wrong decision, but Zug contributes to the happiness of the world....so if an admin is going to cave and tolerate the gratuitous flouting of the rules by a guy who still doesn't really recognize that he treated this site pretty badly, it may as well be Zug who benefits :)
Is propagating something that contributes to the happiness of the world ever the wrong decision?
? Self-evidently. Say Zug defrauded the US tax system. Should he be allowed to stream chess from his prison cell? No. Would his stream still contribute to human happiness? Yes.
Rules exist for a reason. If you abolish all rules, bishops can move like queens, but no one is happier :)
_960_ THANK YOU for THOUGHT PROVOKING WORDS -- even more so an apt metaphor. I am ignorant on the substance of this issue -- but I love following the dialogue. Let's all stand for our principles but preserve a forum for debate....
