will they ever become perfect at chess... I guess there are a finite number of possible moves and therefore games (using 50-move-draw-ruling) so powerful enough computers will. How long until they can?

I think I read somewhere that there are "only" 10 with 126 zeros possible games in chess.
Can't you just time travel back to before you blundered? :p
