Puzzle Grandmaster: What does it mean when gain 2500 Elo in Lichess Puzzles?

The Lichess Puzzle feature is terrific and gives us the means to track our performance by theme and by Elo.

As your elo increases and you reach the milestone of 2500 elo in Puzzles does it mean you are deserving of the title of Puzzle Grandmaster?

I don't think so

You have to be a grandmaster offciaily in real life to earn that title

@groshks yeah okay I think we know that. But this is a puzzle feature rating us with Elo, is the Elo not really measuring the true Elo standard then?

Nah, it isn't really proportional at all to real ratings. I'm not exactly sure why. Really, the only useful part of puzzle elo is to track your skill progress over time.

@L3ylan thanks for the link but reading about the rating systems doesn't explain the relevance of the Elo in the Puzzle feature. I was asking if achieving a certain Elo means you have gained a skill level in chess equivalent to that elo. It is a rather simple point. @Redscales has explained it.
