User spammed takeback, I was prompted that I left the game and given a loss

In a game with yassamin1395 where I was black, white hung their queen on Move 23. After taking the piece I kept getting spammed with "User is requesting a takeback" or a similar message. After trying to continually dismiss the pop up I received the message: "Black has left the game * White is victorious".

I didn't quit the match, I was still on the browser page of the game, I still had 1:38 on the clock. I have no idea how I got a loss in this game. Extremely annoying/frustrating experience. Why can a user even spam you with a takeback request during a competitive game?

With the setting "never" you are disabling the feature both for your opponents and for yourself.

Thank you, I will be doing this. I still think it should be default disabled, at the very least there needs to be a cooldown or limit to the number of requested takebacks a user can request.

The game does not include your queen capture. So I suspect there may have been a single takeback request simultaneous with your unintentional disconnection. The spam aspect may just be a software misfire.

Yep, sounds like a disconnect to me too.
