hey guys, some of you may have seen/played me in the 15+10 rapid pool I have pretty much played there exlusively for the last few years.
Sadly, our "robust cheating detection" system thinks i used illegal asssistance in games after almost 3000 games played there and I always hovering between 2300-2500 depending on form. No details of what i been doing wrong has been provided and i can assure you none of my games have centipawns low to suspect i used any level of assistance (certainly not for an NM like me at least). I had a health scare recently that dropped me to like 2270 but since i recovered slowly crawled my way back. I mentioned this in appeal but how can one successfully appeal accusations so vague?
Its incredible how much faith we have on this system where the appeal process is completely passive like an inquisition. Lichess has been my home for years now and its vital for my training method and to be exiled like this with nothing but the terms of service shoved on myself is nothing short of insulting.
I agree, it is stupid. Probably some idiot who you beat who got pissed and reported you.
Look, there isn't much you can do man. My best advice is probably to start a new account if you feel necessary. Looking through your games, Nothing you've done seems suspicious, all the games you've played have some level of inaccuracy, so why someone would accuse you of cheating is beyond me.
Just remember this: Some people will go to extreme lengths to see you fall.
i tried, with a different account called chaotic perfection and got flagged ...again! although i think its because they didnt want me making a new account. I tried twice more with a VPN and the last one was banned after 4 games lol.
Its clear they dont want me here with any account. in the appeal to one of them ,they want me to appeal after 6 months. For all i know maybe i did do a mistake that appears like cheating (sometimes i open a second window to expedite the waiting while i analyze my most recent game, maybe the system thinkss im using that to cheat?).
but with no transparency, i have no idea what i did wrong. Its like a kangaroo court where the two options are

im willing to pay a monthly membership to stay here , this is by far the only adequate place with rapid pools for my level. I dont even know where else to go. ICC Doesnt even have a 15+10 pool since last time i was there

Not even that. Usually it's YES you cheated, or YES, you cheated.
Only this site have i seen the audacity to confuse an appeals process with a confession box.
i hope i can keep playing here but just in case i cannot. What are the top chess sites to play rapid (not blitz)? with the fact im in the 2200 range OTB
Gotta admit, that's the most believable one so far.
my only other guess had to do with an unusual rating slump i had, which i suppose can be confused with sandbagging but i explained it in appeal (and i dont play in tournaments here or for prizes or any of that, just the pool so no benefit to doing it either!). I may as well explain it here.
there is this herbal supplement called ashwaghanda which is for stress cortisol control.i was taking it pretty liberally for a few weeks but after around the 3 week mark, i had the worst brain fog imaginable. I was missing even simple tactics. Its like i gave no care to anything and coudnt focus.I dropped to the mid 2200's pretty quickly. I legit thought maybe i had a silent stroke and not know it. After a week of not taking it , i started to go up in rating again. I was banned when i almost returned to the 2400 region.
my only other guess is that after years of rarely moving 50 points up or down , it saw a 150 drop and a 100 gain thought something funny was up.
but since appeal never reveals what exactly i did wrong, im left to speculate. This is more recent but i dont see how this qualifies as illegal assistance during a game.

i wonder if my playing style had anything to do with it. i play a relatively small repertoire of unusual openings. As a result of my level and that people prepare agaisnt me, i do know a lot of my openings pretty well. But not the point the centipawn is super low or anything.
P.S after reading with google translate some of the concerns on false positives growing, im amazed the mods are being so cavalier with trusting the system . I have played 2700 games here in rapid format. my strength is well measured and steady, the burden of proof is on the people that think i cheated? How in the world would i have benefited? i also get the feeling false positives are a lot more common in the top percentile of each pool, and yet i have only been 2500 once i think), i dont think i have even broken top 500 before in rapid.

Well, Moritex was on Lichess for years and one day his account got flagged. In the video he gives his opinion on how alleged cheaters are treated. His opinion is of course from his point of view and subjective and does not have to correspond to reality.
