Rating refund

I lost a game because lichess went down on Jan 29, around 9:40 UK time( a message appeared saying lichess is down), it then came back mid game and I was already down on time. I wonder if I can get my rating points back?
You are playing dozens of bullet games each day. Don't sweat those points, your rating will readjust automatically after a few games (or already has).

No, you probably aren't.
why not cancel the games when doing maintenance instead of restarting them mid game?

During restarts lichess stops all games that dont have enough time for lichess to restart and them to still be going then after the restart games not stopped get compensated equal amount of time. What happens is your browser does not always realize and refresh which causes you too loose time.

Also what happens above is only under ideal restarts if something goes wrong then stuff can get wierd but no refund as for the faq

Because it is usually a matter of a second or two to restart the server, so it doesn't seem reasonable to abort all games, of which most can continue just fine. Also, for scheduled restarts this would allow people to stall instead of accepting their loss.
