I like that UI suggestion from Clarkey. Agree that it takes too long to access key menu points with the current system.
I know nothing about web programming, but someone wants to improve upon this, turn it into an extension / greasemonkey script, we can bring back the old menu:

How does it take longer to access key menu areas? Rather than:
a) scrolling up to the top/bottom of the page
b) clicking your relevant menu
c) to get to your relevant sub-menu
d) click the link where you need to go
You:
a) press spacebar
b) read which menu and sub-menu you want,
c) click the link to get where you need to go
If anything, it saves time. If you don't want to use space bar, I'm sure that's easier to change. I cannot understand this opposition to the new menu.
I'm all for giving the guys a hard time - but you have to lay it out in plain speech brother :D I like the cool funky green circles you can generate by right clicking on a square though. ;-)
Chunky... I love these guys! That's why I am so pissed at the imperious attitude -- the French don't have a King anymore do they??? GREAT CHANGES ARE BEING MADE ......... BUT, when users bring up VALID concerns & suggestions there should be a better response than

For one, I actually like the new thing. It's much quicker to sign in. It also saves on scrolling time. I don't like scrolling all the way down to find the "Q&A" button -> the spacebar solves that.
Also, for the play button... clicking the Lichess button on the top right does the same thing: it brings you to the home page... I don't understand what all the ruckus is about...
Err... I like the animation those three bars make when I click the space button... Pushed the space button a lot just to see the animation hehe
